Restricted to Public Affairs majors. Discover the basic skills of effective public and nonprofit leadership that promote well-being and strengthen civil society. Determine the characteristics of good leaders, including personal and social responsibility, inclusivity, and ethics. Develop and refine a guiding personal philosophy of leadership for navigating real world applications to advance social and policy change. One lecture hour a week for one semester.
