Elementary linear vector algebra, Newtonian mechanics, Lagrangian mechanics, central force motion, dynamics of rigid bodies, and theory of small oscillations. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: The following coursework with a grade of at least C- in each: Mathematics 427L or 364K, Physics 315, and 115L.
