Draft and revise proposals for dissertation research or write-up grants with peer review, learn about research design, methods, data collection, and analysis, as well as strategies for presenting one's project within the genre of grant proposal within the scope of social science and humanities research areas. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Anthropology 389D, 391 (Topic: Rsch/Grant Proposal Writing), Religious Studies 383T (Topic: Rsch/Grant Proposal Writing), 390R. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate advisor.
