Investigation of the ways human social patterns and ideologies shape the environment, how the environment shapes human lives, and the ways humans and the natural environment interrelate. The city of Austin will be used as a case study to examine the relationship between the natural and built environments (city space). Special emphasis on the process of global warming and its effects on human society and these relationships.
