Explore approaches and views from disciplines such as literature, music, film, history, and politics, and fields such as cultural studies, media studies, performance, gender and queer politics, critical race theory, and indigenous studies. Analyze different technologies of representation, from writing and visual materials to voices and sounds. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
