Intensive cultural and literacy-focused training in Turkish at the advanced level in preparation for research in the Turkic-speaking world or with Turkish sources. Incoming students are placed in the appropriate level by means of a departmental placement test. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Graduate standing and Turkish 381L or the equivalent with a grade of at least C.
Restrictions: Restricted to non-native speakers of Turkish.
