Restricted to students in the Clinical Innovation and Design Program. Identify concrete clinical needs via clinical immersion experience with healthcare professionals and patients. Apply engineering design methodologies to identify clinical needs based upon the most meaningful problems observed. Three lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week for one semester. Biomedical Engineering 682M and 385J (Topic: Biodsgn: Needs Identification) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
