Examine international criminal law, including the history of international criminal justice; the core crimes of international criminal law; theories of criminal liability and available defenses; international terrorism, U.S. policy towards the International Criminal Court; and dilemmas of transitional justice. For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one lecture hour a week for one semester.
