Same as Art History 328K. Later Islamic art and architecture, beginning with the world empires of the Ottomans, Safavids, and Mughals, and extending into the modern and contemporary periods. Subjects include the social and historical context of Islamic art in these periods and its unique visual culture. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
