Additional Requirements
All graduate students must take HIS X94H Introduction to Historical Inquiry. Student in the field of U.S. History must also take HIS X97K Topics in Literature of United States History.
With the exception of the major field in United States history, all options require demonstrated competence in a foreign language. Each student’s Program of Work must be approved by the student’s primary advisor and the graduate advisor.
