Kinesiology, Sport Management (MEd, Option III)

Students in this Option III program pursue degrees that help them prepare for careers in management, marketing, and administration within the sport and entertainment industries.
This program is designed for mid-career professionals pursuing a terminal master’s degree in sport management while balancing commitments that may not allow them to relocate to Austin. Coursework is designed to cover the functional areas of sport management education and prepare students for managerial and executive positions within the sport and recreation industry. All courses are delivered in an asynchronous online format.
All courses required for program completion are offered in accordance with University policies that govern non-formula-funded (Option III) programs.

Admission
Applicants are required to have one year of full-time work experience at the time of enrollment.
Applicants are welcomed from a wide array of undergraduate backgrounds, ranging from kinesiology and its related disciplines to business, communications, and the creative fields.
