Students pursuing this program concentrate in exercise physiology, biomechanics and neurorehabilitation, or sport management.
Students in exercise physiology can focus on basic and applied physiology, and clinical physiology. Students in biomechanics and neurorehabilitation can focus on biomechanics, neuromuscular control, motor learning and cognitive function.
Students in sport management pursue degrees that help them prepare for careers in management, marketing, and administration within the sport and entertainment industries.

Admission
A student who lacks the prerequisite coursework described below may be admitted to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, but must then complete coursework in the appropriate areas in addition to degree requirements.
Exercise physiology concentration
Applicants must have an undergraduate major in kinesiology or a related discipline and must have completed coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and vertebrate or human physiology.
Biomechanics and neurorehabilitation concentration
Applicants must have an undergraduate major in kinesiology or a related discipline, and must have completed coursework in human anatomy, vertebrate or human physiology, biomechanics, and motor learning or neuromuscular control.
Sport management concentration
Applicants are welcomed from a wide array of undergraduate backgrounds, ranging from kinesiology and its related disciplines to business, communications, and the creative fields.
