Students apply for transcript-recognized undergraduate academic certificates at the time they complete their undergraduate degree or the certificate program, whichever comes later. Transcript recognition is awarded at that time.

Additional Requirements and Policy

• Each semester, the list of approved courses that meet the requirements above is available in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis undergraduate advising office. The list of courses known as the “Pink Book” is published on the Women’s and Gender Studies website.    
• The student must earn a grade of at least a C in each of the courses taken to fulfill the LGBTQ/Sexualities Studies certificate requirements.

• At least nine semester hours must be completed in residence.
