Same as Mexican American Studies 364O and Women's and Gender Studies 340S (Topic 6). Examine the extensive and diverse histories, cultures, social and political movements of Central Americans in the United States, particularly through a Black, Indigenous, and Ethnic Studies framework. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: African and African Diaspora Studies 364O, Mexican American Studies 364O, 374 (Topic: Central Americans in the US), Women's and Gender Studies 340S (Topic 6). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
