Admission
Students who plan to major in exercise science must apply for admission to the program. A student’s grade point average and completion of prescribed prerequisite coursework are factors in the admission decision. Information about admission requirements is available from an academic advisor.
Total Hours Required: 120
Plan of Study
The Plan of Study is a suggested four-year course sequence to support academic planning and serves as a helpful guide. Currently enrolled students should meet with their academic advisor to tailor their course selections and timelines to their individual goals and circumstances.

Additional Requirements and Policy
Undergraduates are expected to have completed two years in a single foreign language in high school. Students without two years of high school foreign language coursework must earn credit for beginning-level proficiency in a foreign language; this credit does not count toward the student’s degree. Students should consult their advisors to determine whether additional foreign language requirements apply to them. A list of acceptable substitute courses is available in the Student Dean's Office, George I. Sánchez Building 2.110.
More information, including a list of specializations, tracks, and minors is available.
