Produce clear, accurate, and well-argued scholarly work, covering a range of commonly used writing styles, including essays, research papers, literature reviews, grant writing, thesis proposals, master's reports, qualifying examinations, and dissertations. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
