Explore the history of food and beverages in the Middle East and Asia, including Palestine/Israel, Egypt, Iran, India, China, and Japan. Investigate themes of identity, capitalism, and globalization to reflect on the role of food consumers in an interconnected world. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
