Explore Florida archaeology from the earliest inhabitants to the present day. Focus on the experiences of Indigenous Floridians, the role played by Florida in the Atlantic Slave Trade, and the continuous but highly varied nature of immigration to and from the Sunshine State. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Anthropology 324L (Topic: Making Florida) and 327F may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
