Analyze the structures of democratic and constitutional development, the drivers of democratic change, and the practice of actively promoting these factors through democracy assistance. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Government 324P and 355M (Topic: Research in Democr/Const Devel) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing and six semester hours of lower-division coursework in government.
