Examine the early-modern networks established by the Sephardi Jews (Sephardim) across the Mediterranean and Atlantic, the rich Ladino Judeo-Spanish culture that thrived in the Ottoman Empire, and Sephardi encounters with the modern world. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
