Discuss the expanded role of clinical leaders in health policy advocacy at the organizational, community, state, national, and international level through examination of socio-political and economic contexts of health, advocacy, policy development, analysis, implementation, and evaluation. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Nursing 395J, 395 (Topic 8), Nurse Professional 395E. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing; Nurse Professional 395G, 395O and 395Q or consent of instructor.
