Apply the science of quality improvement and implementation to improve organizational effectiveness and health outcomes. Discuss strategies to enhance complex system thinking, process analysis, and measuring and monitoring quality and safety indicators. Explore developing and evaluating cost-effective improvement initiatives and implementation of evidence-based practices. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Nursing 395L and Nurse Professional 395L may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing; Nurse Professional 395G, 395O and 395Q or consent of instructor.
