Examine basic concepts in research and evaluation methods including quantitative and qualitative designs, descriptive and inferential statistics, reliability and validity, and data collection and extraction strategies that DNPs use to evaluate evidence-based literature. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Nursing 395 (Topic 5) and Nurse Professional 395Q may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of instructor.
