Develop framework, terminology, and critical thinking and empathy tools for engaging in productive conversations around difficult topics. Explore both differences and commonalities across and within social identities, dialogue about issues pertaining to systems of oppression and enhance intercultural competencies. Examine the meaning of social identities and how they intersect, influence and/or are influenced by others. One lecture hour a week for one semester. Pharmacy Graduate Studies 180M (Topic: Dialogue Across Difference) and 188G may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in pharmaceutical or translational sciences.
