Introduction to social work practice methodology and the professional use of self in generalist practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Explore the generalist approach in social work practice in preparation for work with a variety of client systems including individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Social Work 383R and 384F may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in social work and concurrent registration for Social Work 385F and 384F, or graduate standing and consent of the Assistant Dean for Practicum Education or the graduate advisor.
