Restricted to students in the UT in New York program. Examine multiple facets of the apparel industry in New York City, including fashion design, manufacturing processes and technology, retailing and sales, marketing, and post-consumer services. Explore the industry through the lens of sustainability highlighting current innovations for the purpose of reducing fashion's environmental impact. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Textiles and Apparel 370 and 365 (Topic: The NYC Fashion Industry) may not both be counted.
