Stackable graduate certificates are available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking graduate students. Some stackable certificates may be awarded following completion of program requirements, while others require simultaneous awarding of the graduate certificate and a graduate degree.

Speech Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS): Bilingualism Across the Lifespan
The Speech Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS): Bilingualism Across the Lifespan stackable graduate certificate is designed for students enrolled in the MSSLHS degree program at UT Austin who are interested in working with the bilingual population in their roles as Speech-Language Pathologists. The certificate is comprised of two tracks: 1) Spanish Specialization and Bilingualism Theory and 2) Collaborative Models and Bilingualism Theory. The certificate will enable specialized academic and clinical training and competitive certification to serve bilingual individuals with communication disorders.
Specialized coursework and experiential learning opportunities provide academic support for acquiring knowledge of bilingual populations, and culturally and linguistically appropriate service provision.
