Stackable Certificate Programs, Semiconductor Science and Engineering
Stackable graduate certificates are available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking graduate students. Some stackable certificates may be awarded following completion of program requirements, while others require simultaneous awarding of the graduate certificate and a graduate degree.
See the Stackable Certificates section of this catalog for additional information and policies related to stackable certificates.
The graduate program for this catalog section offers the following stackable certificate programs. To see a full list of graduate certificates offered at the University, please see the Graduate Study section of the Graduate Catalog.
Semiconductor Science and Engineering: Semiconductor Processes and Devices
The Semiconductor Science and Engineering: Semiconductor Processes and Devices stackable graduate certificate is designed primarily for (1) people with a Bachelor’s degree already working at companies in the semiconductor and related technology fields who want an advanced degree and (2) people with a Bachelor’s degree who are currently outside of the semiconductor industry but would like to make a career transition into the industry. The program is available to degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking students. All courses required for program completion are delivered to degree-seeking students in a face-to-face format on the UT Austin campus. These courses are delivered to non-degree-seeking students in an asynchronous online format and in accordance with University policies and procedures that govern non-formula-funded (Option III) academic programs.
