Restricted to Arts and Entertainment Technologies majors. Explores concepts and operations involved in a typical recording studio environment. Focuses on recording equipment and signal flow, recording session procedures, and microphone identification, usage and placement. Three lecture hours a week for one semester, with lab hours as required. Arts and Entertainment Technologies 321 and 321D may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Arts and Entertainment Technologies 321C and 320D.
