Same as Anthropology 324L (Topic 31). Discuss aspects of the contemporary international aid and development in Asia and beyond. Examine the decision-making within the development industry and the scope of aid as a economic and social force in the contemporary world. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Anthropology 324L (Topic 31), Asian Studies 330F, 361 (Topic 49). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
