Examine the ethical and social implications of scientific discoveries and technological advancements, especially as they have affected disenfranchised populations in the United States and internationally. Use civil discourse to mindfully explore difficult topics and develop intellectual, scientific, and ethical literacy. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Anthropology 324L (Topic: Science and Society) and 327S may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
