Cement chemistry, hydration, and microstructural formation; analytical techniques used in the investigation of cement and concrete. Civil Engineering 393C and 397 (Topic: Experimental Methods in Cement Chemistry) may not both be counted. Three lecture hours and one-and-one-half laboratory hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Graduate standing, Civil Engineering 351, 393, or the equivalent, and consent of instructor.
