An analysis of the graphic novel. Representative authors include Lynd Ward, Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez, Art Spiegelman, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Chris Ware, Marjane Satrapi, and Alison Bechdel. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: One of the following: Comparative Literature 315, English 303D, 316L, 316M, 316N, 316P, or Tutorial Course 303D.
