Examine guided waves in cylindrical waveguides, microstrip lines, dielectric and optical waveguides; integrated circuits; and periodic structures. Electrical and Computer Engineering 383M and Electrical Engineering 383M may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
