An introduction to the theoretical and methodological issues central to conducting qualitative research studies. Designed to help students develop practical research skills, and includes opportunities to evaluate current research, analyze data, observe, and interview. Curriculum and Instruction 385G (Topic: Qualitative Research in Educational Settings) and 386R may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
