Examine theoretical and empirical literature related to the economic context of schooling in both K-12 or higher education institutions. Discuss a wide range of concepts, processes, and policies related to funding educational institutions; federal, state, and local governmental roles; revenue sources; equity; efficiency; and finance-related policies. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Educational Administration 388E, Educational Leadership and Policy 390E, 390G. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
