Discuss the fundamental concepts and applications of light detection and ranging (lidar). Assess aerial and ground-based lidar including the quality of the data, how to process the raw data, and analysis of data. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Geography 330L and 356T (Topic: Lidar Analysis) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Geography 460G or 462K.
