Perform original laboratory or field research project under the direction of a faculty mentor, leading to a thesis or research presentation for students in the honors program in biology. For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one-and-one-half lab hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Biology 379H, 679H, Integrative Biology 379H, 679H, Molecular Biosciences 379H, 679H. Prerequisite: Consent of the student's research supervisor and the departmental honors advisor.
