Restricted to journalism majors. Examine election reporting through instruction and supervised fieldwork. Explore candidate identification and monitoring, campaign coverage, misinformation verification, issues of social justice and election access, and communicating complex political issues to lay audiences. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Journalism 310F and 311F with a grade of at least B- in each.
