Topic 1: Rendering and Animation for the Built Environment. Examine digital visualization techniques for modeling built environment and dynamics. Explore techniques focused on the digital translation of spatial experience, including material, character, and texture through rendering and animation. Landscape Architecture 381R (Topic: Visualization/Digital Representation in Design) and 381R (Topic 1) may not both be counted. One-and-one-half lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week for one semester. Additional prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate adviser.
