Explore fundamental aspects of measurement systems: sensing, signal processing, experimental methods, uncertainty analysis, detection, and estimation. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Mechanical Engineering 383D and 397 (Topic: Thry/Dsgn of Mech Measurement) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, undergraduate mechatronics, and statistics.
