Examine essential procedural aspects of conducting health-related research and developing skills in scholarly leadership and service. Explore subjects such as drafting research questions, recruitment and retention of participants, data collection methods, and management of data. Focus on conceptual, methodological, and practical aspects of research within an ongoing faculty research project. Two lecture hours and four laboratory hours a week for one semester.
