Integration and application of skills and knowledge gained in previous adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist coursework for adult patients in the acute or chronic setting. Pattern recognition, critical thinking, analysis, diagnostic testing, differential diagnosis, and medical management of common adult, older-adult health problems. Nursing 489H and Nurse Professional 489H may not both be counted. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours a week for one semester.
