Restricted to students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice APRN program. Examine central and core competencies of advanced practice nursing roles in the context of the broader healthcare environment and interprofessional partnerships along with role expectations for practice with Doctor of Nursing Practice preparation. Understand and apply theory to guide practice, scholarship, and to facilitate excellence in healthcare. For Nursing 398F, three lecture hours a week for one semester. For Nursing 498F, four lecture hours a week for one semester. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
