Utilize practicum experiences and self-directed scholarship to conceptualize the area of clinical specialization and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) scholarly project. Propose evidence-based strategies for implementing and achieving health care outcomes, such as a pilot study, program evaluation, quality improvement, policy analysis, or practice-change initiative. For 395T, one lecture and eight laboratory hours a week for one semester; for 495T, one lecture and twelve laboratory hours a week for one semester; for 595T, one lecture and sixteen laboratory hours a week for one semester. Nursing 395T and Nurse Professional 395T may not both be counted. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and Nurse Professional 395G, 395O and 395Q.
