Integrated approach consisting of normal physiology (with limited functional anatomy), pathophysiology, and basic principles in pharmacology to address the etiology of disease states affecting the nervous, gastrointestinal, visual/olfactory, skin, muscular, and cardiovascular systems. For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one lecture hour a week for one semester. Offered on the letter-grade basis only. Prerequisite: Admission to the professional pharmacy curriculum.
