Concepts of patient safety and quality improvement. Current and past quality improvement projects are used to demonstrate the model of clinical safety and effectiveness. Reducing and preventing medical errors using the TeamSTEPPS approach; working in interprofessional teams on a quality improvement project. Pharmacy 274S and Pharmacy PharmD 284S may not both be counted. The equivalent of two lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Completion of the second professional year in the College of Pharmacy.
