Overview of primary instrumental methods for evaluating historical textiles in terms of physical characteristics, chemical content, strength loss, structural deterioration, color change, and overall structural integrity and status of impact of environmental factors. Focus on instrumental features, measuring procedures, and interpretation of instrumental data. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
