Same as African and African Diaspora Studies 345G, Latin American Studies 322D, and Religious Studies 366D. Examine the histories and politics of religious practices in the Greater Caribbean, encompassing the islands and Central American coasts as well as the continental diasporas, from Vodou and Rastafari to popular Hinduism. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
