Examine a detailed consideration of the structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids, as well as discussion of enzyme mechanisms and kinetics. Prerequisite: Graduate standing; a one-year undergraduate sequence in biochemistry is strongly recommended.
